What I Did
This first week, I did the first half of the WordPress Credits course (the iirst 13 lessons) alongside the courses included: Basic principles of conflict resolutions, Writting in the WordPress voice, Community meeting etiquette, Open source basics and WordPress, How decisions are made in the WordPress project, and Beginner WordPress User. I also created my accounts in Slack and Gravatar.

What I Learned
The first thing I learned was how to navigate in WordPress.org menu. Then, I learned how to progress through the different courses and lessons of WordPress Credits course. I then set up my accounts on Gravatar and Slack and understood what are they for. Later, by the end of the lessons of Onboarding I learned how to use WordPress.com to create my own website. Lastly, I have started Project lessons, which are about how to contribute to WordPress.

Challenges I Faced
Not everything I have done up to date has been so easy. For example, I have had to do some of the quizzes two or three times because I sometimes get confused with the questions or I do not know the answer. Another challenge was that some playgrounds of WordPress.com were a bit outdated, so the instructions and the buttons were confusing and complicated.
How I Grew
With WordPress, I have learned and understood many things I did not know before. For instance, I have learned that websites are much more complicated than I thought. I also learned that conflicts can be solved in a much more respectful way than I thought. Likewise, I discovered that there are people dedicated to traslating websites, supporting users, testing upcoming updates, and much more activities to contribute to the world wide web. Without them, many people would be unable to access content as they want.
